    Anna Jagric

    Anna is currently Director of Operations and Finance at Psychosynthesis Trust and the founder of Events for Action. Additionally, after years working in finance and accounting, Anna ventured into more social and entrepreneurially driven initiatives including running a series of events for Google that centered on the pitching of startups, and facilitating the OpenIDEO chapter in London which fosters environmental and sustainable change in cities.

    Aristos works in the join between digital technology and early-stage equity investment “where tech gets funded”. Throughout his career, Aristos has worked as a tech founder raising investment for his own venture, as an angel investment manager, a Venture Capital manager, as well as corporate finance on larger deals.

    Arjan Brouer

    Head of Business Development and Partnerships, Tradebits

    Arjan has over 15 years of finance and investment management experience, working in various relationship management and business development roles in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Over the past few years Arjan has served as an advisor and investor to a number of tech and blockchain startups. In January 2018 Arjan joined Tradebits as the Head of Business Development & Partnerships, managing the Tradebits office in London. Arjan holds a Master’s degree in International Management from the University of Nymegen.

    Cristian Parrino

    CEO, Greengame

    Cristian is the Co-Founder and CEO of Greengame, a social impact startup using advanced technology, gamification and behavioral economics to enable organisations to incentivise sustainable living. More recently, he led Canonical’s mobile program for Ubuntu, the Linux Operating System, launching the first Ubuntu Phone and breaking crowdfunding records with the Ubuntu Edge. Cristian is also an active mentor to a number of social impact startups, helping them with product market fit, proposition development, go to market and growth strategies.

    Gabriel Voto

    Gabriel is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently, he is the Impact Manager at The Collective. He has a B.Sc. in Ecology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a diploma in Environmental Management and a M.Sc. in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology. He was lucky enough to grow up in a rural area of Rio de Janeiro, where he spent his time climbing trees, bathing in rivers and camping in the mountains of the beautiful Atlantic jungle.

    Luigi Meschini

    Luigi has several years of experience in entrepreneurship and mentoring. He has founded various ventures and exited them successfully, before he became the Programme Manager of a well-known Accelerator, which delivers support for early stage businesses from ideation, through proof of concept, to investment readiness and supports its Alumni companies raising up to £1m in early stage investment. Luigi holds a Master’s degree in Law from the LUISS Guido Carli University.

    Michael Lim

    Michael Lim has advised UK Government Ministers, multinationals and private businesses. Prior to joining Pulsar in 2007, he was the Director of Strategy and Planning at Barclays Capital and previously held investment management positions at Citigroup, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Credit Agricole Indosuez in London, Moscow, New York and Singapore.

    He began his career at HM Treasury as a Private Secreatary for a Finance minister. His expertise is on strategy, planning, and investment management. He holds a BA in Financial Economics and an MBA from Columbia University NY, respectively.

Before founding now>press>play, Alice worked as a theatre director and assistant director at the Old Vic, National Theatre, and Royal Court.

    Benjamin Kott

    Benjamin Kott is the founder and CEO of EnergyDeck, an award-winning online platform that helps organisations optimise buildings and increase health and well-being. Previously, Benjamin was Google's Green Business Operations Manager and Clean Energy Manager for Europe. He also led Google's first investment in renewable energy generation outside of the U.S. In addition, he served as Google’s spokesperson on all matters related to the environment, energy and sustainability.

    Richard Swannell

    Richard is Development Director for WRAP- a UK based charity, at the forefront of the circular economy - thought leaders, champions of action and catalysts for change. Richard is committed to working on ways of reducing man’s impact on the environment. A biochemist by training with a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering, Richard is expert in delivering resource efficient and sustainable practices within business. In his current role, Richard is establishing a wider network to achieve impact globally. A current focus, within the remit of Healthy and Sustainable Eating is the delivery of the relevant UN sustainable Development Goal 12.3 with the objective of halving food waste.

    Melinda Nicci

    Melinda Nicci is the Founder and CEO of Baby2Body, Sport Psychologist, certified fitness trainer, and mom of two. Previous roles include Senior Director in Global Group Innovation for consumer healthcare at Philips, serving as an advisor for companies developing innovative health-tech solutions, consulting on investments for a VC, and as a visiting tutor at London Business School. Melinda is also on the health-tech working group of Tech London Advocates and founded the TLA HealthTech Start-up Competition.

    Rebecca Bright MBE is the co-founder of Therapy Box. Her clinical background has been the influencing factor in the success of her business which has been recognized with a slew of awards including the Queens Award for Enterprise. Rebecca herself has been acknowledged for her role in designing technology which helps many people around the world and also for supporting women in technology. In the 2016 New Years Honours, her Majesty the Queen named her a Member of the British Empire.

    Mark Hawley

    Mark is Professor of Health Services Research at the University of Sheffield, UK, where he leads the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Research Group. He is also Honorary Consultant Clinical Scientist at Barnsley Hospital, where he is Head of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering, whose AT Team provides specialist electronic assistive technology services to people with disabilities in South Yorkshire.

    Over the last 20 years, he has worked as a clinician and researcher – providing, researching, developing and evaluating assistive technology, telehealth and telecare products and services for disabled people, older people and people with long-term conditions.


    William McQuillan

    Partner, Frontline Ventures

    William McQuillan is one of the founding employees of Ondra Partners, a startup investment-banking boutique. Within 18 months, Ondra grew from a four-person team to 70+ employees across London, New York, and Paris and was named the top investment banking boutique globally by Euromoney. Shortly thereafter William co-founded Osmoda, a fashion e-commerce company targeting young and up-and-coming designers. During the same time, William was also the London Ambassador for the Thousand Network, a community of over 1000 innovators under 30.

    Through his work at Osmoda and Thousand, William experienced firsthand the difficulty that European founders have when fundraising. This inspired him to join Will and Shay to set up Frontline, a fund that would usher in a new generation of early-stage venture capital in Europe.
